Your frame should now look like this:

Note that the spaces inside the frame will be filled with the portal once activated.

Activating the Nether Portal

With the obsidian frame in place, the next step is to activate the portal. You will need either a Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge to do this. Here’s how to activate the portal:

Equip your Flint and Steel or Fire Charge.
Stand inside the obsidian frame.
Use the Flint and Steel or Fire Charge to light the inside of the frame. The portal will activate, filling the frame with a purple, swirling vortex.

Once the portal is activated, you can step into it to travel to the Nether. The Nether is a dangerous place, so make sure you are well-prepared before entering.

🔍 Note: Be cautious when activating the portal, as it can be dangerous to stand too close to the lava used to create obsidian.

Exploring the Nether

Once you have successfully built a Nether portal and activated it, you can explore the Nether. The Nether is filled with unique resources and dangerous mobs. Here are some tips for exploring the Nether:

Bring plenty of food and potions to stay healthy and replenish your health if needed.
Carry a good weapon and armor to defend against hostile mobs like Zombified Piglins, Skeletons, and Ghasts.
Look for valuable resources like Nether Quartz, Glowstone, and Ancient Debris, which can be used to craft powerful items and tools.

Returning to the Overworld
